Every academic year, the St. Stephen's College Parent-Teacher Association organizes a series of life education activities for parents to energize and support their parenting journeys.
This year, Ms. Law Nai-suan (Executive Director of the Family Development Fund, a seasoned parenting and family education practitioner, and an award-winning author on spiritual inspiration and parenting) was invited to present a parenting seminar titled "How to Let Go and Let Your Children Fly."
"Letting go" is the most challenging yet essential parenting lesson for parents. How can we cultivate independence, plant the seeds of faith, establish positive communication, and encourage children to soar and pursue their dreams during their teenage years?
The seminar attracted 150 parents and teachers, lasting nearly 120 minutes. The packed house was filled with laughter. Ms. Law shared her special operations experience in a simple, direct, and humorous manner, sharing ten key tips for helping children soar. The tip that most impressed the parents was: "Open one eye, close one eye!" Ms. Luo also reminded parents that while accompanying their children as they grow up, parents should also keep learning and pursue their own dreams!
